Real problems.
Practical thinking.
Better solutions.

From an unavailable part to an idea that needs to work. We connect reverse engineering, practical design, and digital fabrication to make the next step possible.

01 / Capabilities

The right process.
For the real problem.

Missing drawings. A part that no longer fits. A prototype that has to function. We choose the tools around the outcome—and combine them when the work calls for it.

01 / CAPTURE

Recover the geometry.

3D scanning and reverse engineering turn an existing part or mating surface into usable digital geometry when original drawings are missing.

02 / ITERATE

Put the idea to work.

Additive manufacturing supports fit checks, functional prototypes, fixtures, patterns, and selected end-use parts. Materials follow the operating need.

02 / The digital workbench

See it. Understand it.
Work out what comes next.

Geometry is a starting point. The useful questions are how a part fits, what it needs to do, and which process makes sense for the application.

Good judgment is part of the process.

A successful part must fit its application, respect production realities, and arrive in a form you can use. That means making clear choices about material, geometry, tolerance, and the right amount of iteration.

04 / A focused service from Zero Limit Studio

One missing gasket.
A whole operation waiting.

When a replacement is unavailable, undocumented, or too slow to source, start with what you have: the old gasket, a mating surface, a drawing, or reliable measurements.

We develop digital templates and, where geometry and materials fit, produce prototypes, one-offs, and short runs by CO₂ laser cutting or 3D printing.

Priority response / Expedited

24hours
or less

A target for qualifying projects.

Feasibility comes first. Rapid turnaround depends on usable geometry, compatible materials, size, operating conditions, timely decisions, and an agreed scope. Expedited pricing is disclosed during qualification.

A response objective, not an unconditional delivery guarantee.

Standard service

A clear scope. An agreed schedule.

For planned replacements, prototypes, and short runs. Timing and price follow the project review.

What we need to check before making your gasket +

Provide dimensions, quantity, material if known, operating temperature and pressure, chemical exposure, available sample or files, and your required deadline. Large, hazardous, regulated, high-pressure, high-temperature, or other high-consequence applications need additional qualification. Engineering certification, regulatory approval, and installation are not included.

05 / From first question to finished work

Clarity before cutting.

You work directly with the studio. We establish what success looks like, check the fit, and agree on the work before making it.

  1. 01

    Describe the problem.

Share the situation, desired outcome, timing, quantity, and anything you already have.

  2. 02

    Qualify the fit.

We review process, scale, operating risk, budget, and the information needed to proceed.

  3. 03

    Clarify the solution.

A phone or Webex conversation, when useful, establishes the operating context and success criteria.

  4. 04

    Agree on the scope.

Deliverables, assumptions, pricing, and schedule are defined. Expedited options depend on feasibility.

  5. 05

    Make. Check. Deliver.

Capture, design, iterate, fabricate, and validate as appropriate to the application.

A deliberately scoped studio.

Project acceptance depends on size, material, tolerance, quantity, schedule, risk, and budget. If a different approach or supplier is the better fit, we’ll say so. Large-volume manufacturing, licensed engineering approval, and installation are outside our current offering.
